September 17th

   Perhaps it is time to reflect on this beautiful Sunday afternoon about all the good things that have taken place over the last few months but I somehow can't put the passing of my father in law out of my head. 
    We got along grandly on a level of our own choosing.  He always spoke openly and honestly to me in a different way and in a different tone that told me things about the man that only I knew. 
    It's this knowledge, the knowledge of experience  that compels me to be a better man and a better husband and most of all a better father so that when my time comes  I   will   have     (hopefully) gained the "greater"  understanding required to convey the more important things in life to those I will be waiting for on the other side.
